Biography

Keiara Bell is a recent graduate of Wayne State University with a degree in public relations and a minor degree in music. As a Wayne State undergrad, Keiara worked within many departments and student organizations, such as: YASC (Young Apostolic Students for Christ), PRSSA, Admissions, Registration, Housing and Residential Life as well as the Office of International Students and Scholars.

Now entering into her first year in the Urban Planning Graduate Program, Keiara has been elected director of community affairs by the Wayne State University Student Senate.

Keiara has used her public relations experience and education throughout her career with companies like Lakeshore Engineering Services, the Detroit City Council, the capitol in Lansing as a political intern for former Senator Irma Clark-Coleman as well as Quicken Loans assisting with marketing, consulting, issues management and strategic training.

With a heart for the city of Detroit, Keiara is dedicated to giving her all to the success of her city. With her education and experience, she is excited to begin helping neighborhoods build their own community outreach program, raise their own funds for upkeep and equip their own villages.
