Biography

Nikita currently serves as the Main Campus Representative for Wayne State University School of Medicine. She is a second year medical student, and has been a proud Wayne State Warrior since 2011. She graduated from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Irvin D. Reid Honors College in 2015, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Nikita is one of the co-founders of the Political Science Student Association (PSSA), and has experience working with students and administration at WSU. Through the PSSA, she has worked with Student Senatein the past to host a non-partisan election-viewing party on campus. Her positive experience as a student organization leader at Wayne State inspired her to continue serving as a voice for the Wayne State community. Her goal for the 2016-2017 school year is to bridge the gap between the medical school and the rest of the university. There are great opportunities and fascinating events happening on both campuses. She plans to unify both campuses through Student Senate.
