The Student Senate undertakes many initiatives to become directly involved with issues that affect Wayne State students, as well as passing legislation. Past successful initiatives have included efforts to improve levels of safety on campus, efforts to improve cleanliness and functionality of campus parking facilities, as well as sponsoring events to enrich the campus experience.
