Put recycling bins next to garbage bins EVERYWHERE. Have a marketing campaign devoted to recycling awareness. Wayne State should take the lead in reducing waste, helping the environment, and keeping the campus clean. Also, a widespread recycling program increases value to prospective students who are environmentally-conscious, possibly resulting in increased enrollment and more money for the school in the long run.

I feel that Old Main is the dirtiest building on campus. I have informed office staff in the past of how filthy my class room was. I feel that it needs to be kept and cleaned. I feel that floors 1, 2, and 4 need to have flooring re-done. The carpeting is just disgusting, nothing something I would expect from a University where I along with others pay alot of money to attend.

Put the recycling program back in every residence hall. In the hand book it says that student can recycle practically everything, but in actuality, we can't recycle anything.

The campus needs better maintanence, there is garbage and trash everywhere. I agree, there should be more bottle and paper recycling bins around campus, next to garbage cans.

Agreed. There should be a receptacle for recycling cans & plastic next to trash that will be thrown out.

the bathroom needs to be renovated in the old engineering building. There's insects on the lighting on top of the sink, the lighting sucks, the faucets are just horrible because they either spew out water, hot and cold are mixed up. The new dial soap container in the new engineering building doesn't stick to the wall and jams up, and now we're stuck with pouring foaming soap onto our hands that doesn't foam. I'd like this fixed immediately, coz apparently complaining to the people in engineering doesn't do anything.

The Science and Engineering Library has one of the worst women's restroom on campus. It's never clean, the watering is always running and paper towel every where. I would suggest keeping the trash bin next to the door and maybe that would stop used paper towel from being on the floor next to the door.

The cleanliness of the UGL is substandard, to say the least. The keyboards are dirty (especially on the 1st floor), and at times the computer desks contain food remains. While it is not feasible for custodians to periodically clean the items/areas mentioned throughout the day, there could be "sanitation spots" that would allow students themselves to clean/sanitize items they deem unsanitary. We as students must respect the library by keeping it clean. *Extra trash receptacles might be needed as well.
